The Brief

Established in 1901, Gossard has transcended the decades by offering women the luxury of choice in under-garments. From practical corsets to their sell-out G-Strings, Gossard continues to push boundaries, developing innovative products. However, the website was tired, dated and did not match the prestige of the Gossard brand. The order management was cumbersome and hard to manage, whilst the consumer UX was difficult to navigate resulting in conversion rates being below par. 

The Work

We focused on enhancing customer experience and developing a shopping brand site that rivalled competitors. After an extensive Discovery phase, the solution focused on good product navigation and collections. Working with the existing brand DNA, our design team devised a visually stunning website that is both accomplished in its look and feel, and works hard as a high-end brand shop. 

A bespoke eCommerce platform developed in Microsoft .NET ensures that Gossard can manage products, orders, SEO and content such as blogs, along with being fully integrated with the existing fulfilment system.

The Results

The new Gossard digital presence elevated the brand into the modern age, with an intuitive user experience and a scalable ecommerce model. 

The new website saw an uplift of 150% in online sales, providing a healthy ROI and momentum behind further enhancements. There are plans to continue to enhance conversion optimisation as well as to reduce cart abandonment through the use of specialist technologies.
